Helping thoughtful, independent types deepen their friendships and find purpose, connection and belonging
THE LIVING WELL ALONE PROJECT
Whether by choice or through circumstance, more and more of us than ever before are living by ourselves. The Living Well Alone Project was set up in 2017 to fill the gap in information and advice for people living by themselve and asking the question 'how do I do this?' as well as promoting a more positive and realistic perception of people who live alone. We are advisory service, part storytellers, part consultancy, and part social movement!

WHAT WE DO
We're celebrating and normalising the experience of living alone. Promoting the potential for living alone to be an empowering experience, while providing reassurance, support and practical advice for anyone struggling with the day to day realities of solo living. Kickstarting open, honest conversations about the realities of living alone, tackling stigma head on and working with community, educational and business leaders to recognise and respond to the needs of this under-represented demographic. Building a global community.

BLOG & NEWSLETTER
Our weekly blog covers every aspect of living alone, from the practical to the emotional. I write a lot of the posts myself, and I also welcome regular guest bloggers just to keep things interesting!
I also send out a weekly newsletter with additional exclusive content curated specifically for discerning solos. You can sign up via the Living Well Alone Project website.

A GLOBAL COMMUNITY
We've built one of the largest (possibly THE largest) online communities of people living alone in the world via The Living Well Alone Project Facebook page - just like / follow the page for updates! We also run SoloTalk, a private Facebook chat group.
SOCIAL ENTERPRISE
The Living Well Alone Project recently achieved Community Interest Company status, which means we can operate as a social enterprise. That means that any money we make – through donations, grants, sponsorship arrangements or by offering paid-for services or products which are useful to our community – goes back into further our mission, allowing us to reach as many people as possible!
